Pet Portraits I’ve been called an animal whisperer…I can even make a chicken stand still! I thought I would put my intense love of animals and my handling techniques to good use and create Pet Portraitures. It’s for owners who have always wanted to have a formal portrait of their pet(s) but couldn’t incur the cost to have an oil done of their beloved furry or feathered member of the family. My faux-oil, water-color or ink drawings are done by utilizing filters to transform a photo I’ve taken of your pet into a work of art. Each photo lends itself to a different form of art rendering…some look better with brush strokes, some as pen and inks, and some as canvas textured photos on watercolor photo paper or actually transferred onto real canvas! And…there is only an affordable sitting cost and the cost of the print, which works out to far less than a portrait painted from a photo with the same result.                               |
